Events & Courses

The work we do at Moonshadow happens in seasons.

Some of it is live and gathered — a summit, a workshop, our Moonshadow Membership calls, a room full of people willing to look at what they've been avoiding.

Some of it is solitary, paced to your own attention.

Below is what's open right now, and what's coming.

The Cohort — develop your workshop in a real room

You've been circling it for months. Sketching, redrafting, talking it through with the same two friends. What's missing isn't the idea — it's the room.

The Moonshadow Emerging Leaders Cohort is three Saturdays in June where facilitators, coaches, and leaders develop the workshop they've been building, teach it to a small group of practitioners, and receive the kind of feedback that polite peer groups don't give.

The cohort culminates in each participant leading their workshop inside the Moonshadow Membership — marketing handled, audience ready — with clips of you teaching to share across your own channels.

Led by Ashley Abubakar. Application required.

Saturdays · June 6, 13, 20 · 10am–1pm PT
$495 · payment plans available · standalone offering

🏕️ The Retreat — a weekend of shared leadership, in person

You're already a leader. You've built something — a community, a practice, a body of work — and people look to you to hold the room.

What you don't get often: a weekend with peers where no one is performing leadership and everyone is sharing it.

The Moonshadow Leaders Retreat is a small in-person weekend for facilitators, coaches, therapists, organizers, teachers, founders, and artists who hold leadership roles in their communities. No single person leads the whole weekend — instead, each of us steps forward in different ways, building on what we saw emerge at the Shadow Summit.

We're firming up dates, location, and price, and the people on this list will be the first to know — and will help shape what it becomes.

In person · Date and location TBD · Small group

Shadow Summit

Friday, May 2, 2026 · Free · Virtual

A one-day gathering for people who take the inner life seriously. Keynote by Barry Michels, co-author of The Tools and Coming Alive, on the practice of meeting what we'd rather not meet. Sessions throughout the day from practitioners working at the edges of shadow, somatics, depth psychology, and creative practice.

The Summit is free because the work shouldn't be gatekept. It's serious without being grim. There will be teaching, there will be silence, there will be questions you don't have to answer out loud.

Sessions are not recorded to respect group privacy.

Meet Your Moon

Self-paced audio course · $42

Your natal Moon is one of the oldest figures in the psyche — the part that knows what it needs before you do, and often before you're willing to admit it.

Meet Your Moon is a guided audio course that takes you into a structured encounter with your Moon as an inner figure, using active imagination and witness consciousness as the working method.

This is not a placement read-out. It's a practice. You'll come away with a relationship, not a diagnosis.

Created by KP Kaszubowski, drawn from the Astro Parts Method curriculum. Hellenistic and Jungian in lineage. No IFS framework, no astrology fatalism, no homework you'll resent.

Call for Proposals

Late Summer Shadow Summit

We're opening submissions for our second Summit of 2026, happening late summer. Dates and details to be announced.

We're looking for sessions that take the shadow seriously as material — not as a wellness aesthetic, not as a metaphor we've worn smooth. If you teach, practice, or write at the intersection of depth psychology, somatics, archetypal work, creative practice, or the harder edges of the inner life, we want to hear from you.

What we're drawn to:
  • Specificity over generality
  • Practitioners with a developed methodology, not borrowed language
  • Sessions that leave room for the audience's own work
  • Voices we haven't heard in this space yet

What we're not looking for:
  • Pitches that flatten shadow into "self-improvement"
  • Sessions built around selling a high-ticket offer
  • Anything that frames the unconscious as a problem to solve

Submissions reviewed on a rolling basis. We'll be in touch within three weeks of receipt.
